Exploratories
Courses designed to help students discover their abilities and acquire skills in the fine arts and vocational areas are offered at all 3 grade levels. Please refer to course offerings under the parents or students links for a complete list.
Extra Curricular Programs and Sponsors
Independent Learning Center
Students meet in small groups for tutoring during study time. They receive help with homework and organization. Placement is based on student need and teacher recommendation.
Read 180
Read 180 is designed to address the needs of middle level struggling readers. The program features individualized computer-based interactive instruction, high interest books, and teacher guided small group instruction.
Special Education
Students identified for special education receive services based on their IEP's
(Individualized Educational Plan). Download District Developed Special Education Plan
Extended Learning (Talented and Gifted)
Students receive enrichment activities during homeroom. Placement is based on test scores and teacher recommendation.
Tutoring
Available to our English Language Learners, this program provides homework assistance and vocabulary development to students who are developing skills in a second language.
